How we proceed

Four steps to the medical assessment.

    Questionnaire

    It begins with a comprehensive questionnaire about your current condition: symptoms, course, previous diagnostics and quality of life. You or your caregivers complete it in full, at your own pace. The questionnaire can be paused at any time and worked on across several sessions.

    Case documents

    You send us further relevant documents from your previous assessments.

    Assessment dossier

    Based on the questionnaire and the available case documents, Sharpa compiles an assessment dossier for you. A specialised partner physician reviews this dossier in preparation for the teleconsultation.

    Teleconsultation

    A 30-minute consultation with a specialised partner physician follows. You participate comfortably from home; the consultation is held telemedically by video. Where indicated, you receive a Long Covid or ME/CFS diagnosis. Further assessments may be recommended. If a diagnosis is made, the next steps are discussed.
